The Baltimore Orioles have signed relief pitcher Grant Balfour to a contract worth $15 million over two years, according to Roch Kubatko of MASNsports.com.
The deal was reached on Tuesday and will include $500,000 in deferred salary each season in addition to the $7 million salary.

Balfour has served as the closer for the Oakland A’s the last two seasons after working as a middle reliever and set-up man for the majority of his 10-year MLB career.
